Abstract

This article approaches the methodology, results and analysis derived from the tree census carried out in the study area called “Metropolitan Center of Guadalajara”. In addition, it addresses aspects associated with sustainability and the relationship with the inhabitants of the city, the importance of the presence of trees in cities as a natural environment between the concrete that, through its benefits, provides comfort to people, a landscape, mental health, among others. In conjunction with the use of Geographic Information Systems, the spatial distribution of trees is represented and how the territory is painted by the color of its flowers, according to the species found in the study area.
