Metodologías participativas: propuesta para la promoción del desarrollo comunitario. El caso del centro comunitario “La Colmena” Miramar.

Abstract

The Community Development Center known as "La Colmena" is a property located in the Miramar neighborhood, in the city of Guadalajara, which promotes social coexistence, community services and the strengthening of work and organizational capacities for personal development and the community. From the approach to "La Colmena" and the knowledge of its objectives and operation, this article pretends to approach and propose the use of participatory methodologies to encourage community development horizontally, which means, promoting the inclusion of the inhabitants of the neighborhood in the management of the development of their community and the development center, based on their knowledge, needs and problems. The proposal was made based on theoretical analysis regarding participatory methodologies, successful projects in the American continent, and the experiences and visions of the researchers involved.
