El Ordenamiento ecológico base para la sostenibilidad: experiencia del municipio de Ixtlahuacán del Río, Jalisco. México
Abstract
The objective of this work is to show the utility of Local Ecological Planning as a basis for municipal sustainability. Likewise, the 2030 Agenda is addressed with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the link with the Local Ecological Planning is visualized as a planning tool in national and local levels. It is based on a brief description of the territorial ordering in Mexico, from its beginning to the present. Subsequently, ecological planning is addressed as an environmental policy that regulates land use and productive activities in order to achieve environmental protection, preservation and sustainable use of natural resources, their trends and potential. The experience of the process of the Municipal Ecological Planning of Ixtlahuacán del Río is shared, its stages and how the team of specialists was formed, the work organized in three methodological strategies of office work, field work and participatory workshops. The actions foreseen in the Municipal Ecological Planning Program of Ixtlahuacán del Río to achieve the SDG are indicated.Downloads
